The first spark: a memorial for Claws
Three years ago, I lost my dear cat, Claws. At the pet funeral home, I realised the importance of memorial pieces containing fur or ashes. I asked them to save some fur, determined to create something special.
After a long search, I discovered resin pet memorial pieces and thought, "I can do that!" I found resin and a heart-shaped mould to create a memorial for Claws. The result, though far from perfect, was filled with love and marked the true beginning of Artful Resin.
The evolution of a passion
With leftover resin and a newfound urge to create, my hobby quickly grew. My collection of moulds expanded, I experimented with numerous resin brands, mica powders, inks, glitters, and inclusions. My spare room soon became a vibrant resin workshop.
Now, three and a half years later, my resin world is an unyielding passion. I showcase my creations at craft fairs, parties, and online. I adore crafting custom pieces, memorial items, and unique jewellery, and I am excited to share them with you.
